While I spend most of my time hunting trendy new brands and big retailers for us to partner with I also like to spend some time shopping on the Beyond app.

Before I moved to Silicon Valley and started working for Beyond I spent a year and a half living in China. I became familiar with 海淘 because the clothing options in China were too expensive, too small, and too few.

I arranged my first 代购 to buy a pair of running shoes from New Balance in the US. Having realized the struggle for buying quality American products.

I was pretty keen to work for Beyond as soon as I saw the job posting for a company looking to directly partner with the brands to automate the 代购 process.
