How to Use
Clove oil blends well with many other essential oils, including lavender essential oil, lemon essential oil, peppermint essential oil, basil essential oil, rosemary essential oil, rose oil, cinnamon essential oil, grapefruit essential oil, nutmeg essential oil, orange essential oil and geranium essential oil—making clove essential oil a popular oil in aromatherapy and in other herbal combinations.
Clove oil uses:
Use as a natural insect repellent by adding few drops to a spray bottle filled with water.
Place one drop of clove essential oil in two ounces of water and gargle for a refreshing effect.
Place one drop of clove essential oil in an empty supplement capsule, or dilute one drop in four ounces of water, and take internally as a supplement. †
During the fall and winter seasons, diffuse three drops of clove oil, two drops of cinnamon oil and one drop of orange essential oil for an invigorating scent.
During your nightly routine, add one drop of clove oil to your toothbrush before applying toothpaste.
Following your six-month cleaning at the dentist, apply one drop of clove oil to teeth and gums.
Combine clove essential oil with a carrier oil for a warming massage.
