Product Overview
Ancient Apothecary Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
For topical, aromatherapy or dietary purposes.
With a unique name such as ylang ylang, it’s no wonder it’s derived from equally unique star-shaped flowers, and supports healthy hair and skin, plus promoting positivity, a sense of calm and easing feelings of stress † —all wrapped up in a sensational scent.
Ylang ylang is the name of a tree native to Indonesia. Frequently used in luxurious skin and hair products, ylang ylang offers nourishing benefits and features antioxidants.
With a slightly floral scent that, too, is unique, ylang ylang is a favorite for women’s fragrances and products, but can be used as middle note for men’s fragrances and products.
The main components of ylang ylang are benzyl acetate, benzyl benzoate linalool, caryophyllene, geranyl acetate, methyl benzoate, p-cresyl methyl ether and sesquiterpenes, all of which contribute to its exquisite aroma and beneficial properties.
Cautions:
Possible skin sensitivity. Consult your physician before use, especially if pregnant, nursing, taking medication or if you have a medical condition. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and sensitive skin. Keep out of reach of children.
