Beavertown Brewery – named after the old Cockney term given to the historic De Beauvoir area, famed across Victorian London for its characters and revelry – was established in 2011, and is today one of the leading names in the UK craft beer movement. Beavertown Lazer Crush is a laser-sharp IPA and our latest crush. What’s so amazing about it, is that it tastes like a turbocharged IPA, but is virtually alcohol free. This beer weighs in at only 0.3% ABV. To put that in perspective, bananas, burger buns and even the soy sauce in your cupboard might exceed that. Lazer Crush IPA is crafted with a special strain of yeast that creates peachy fruit flavours when it ferments rather than alcohol. Potent Azacca, Amarillo and Citra hops are then used to add in notes of pine, mango, tangerine and grapefruit. We’re definitely going to be sipping this highly crushable and vegan-friendly IPA throughout Dry January and Sober October, but probably all year round too, especially during the summer months while listening to Major Lazer.
