Abracadabra. Boom. Puff of smoke. And Harvey Nichols pulls a truly magical IPA out of a hat. And it’s a proper Session India Pale Ale too – highly quaffable, massive hops (Amarillo, Citra, Ekuanot and Mosaic), vegan friendly, explosively tropical, touch of bitter pine sap and a mouth-puckering tang. But it’s completely gluten free, so there must be some kind of sorcery afoot. Maybe that’s why they call it Saucery? We certainly hope the name is not a serving suggestion, as we’d much prefer to sip it out of the can than lap it up out of a saucer. Magic Rock Brewing is really where the magic happens. Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, this brewery was inspired by local traditions and the burgeoning US craft beer scene. They’ve been listed in RateBeer.com’s Top 100 breweries in the world five times already, which is pretty impressive considering they only started in 2011 and how many people are making beer around the globe.
