The Arc'teryx Men's Alpha SL Jacket is a waterproof jacket for alpine climbing. The SL stands for super lightweight, given its name due to the GORE-TEX® PacLite® fabric used to keep you dry and comfortable on the mountain. The shell blocks out rain, sleet, snow and wind for all around storm protection. When not protecting you from the elements, the Alpha SL can be packed down small into the included stuff sack, so it won't take up too much space in your backpack. The trim fit is close to the body and allows for a base layer underneath allowing movement and ensuring there won't be any extra fabric to get caught on gear. A single pocket stays out of the way of your harness and hangs onto a small item such as your headlamp.
