The Arc'Teryx Women's Bora Mid GTX Hiking Boot is a GORE-TEX® hiking boot for dry feet and proper footing along the trail. The Bora Mid GTX boot combines stability, comfort and protection as you explore trails, near home and into the mountains with pack upon your back. The non-removable, 2 layer stretch nylon mono-mesh with stretch GORE-TEX® laminate liner with EVA foam core wraps your foot, providing cushion and waterproof/breathable protection. The upper is all about durability against dirt, rocks and water, made from PU coated yarns, TPU high abrasion protection films and 3D moulded heel and toe cap. The injected EVA midsole provides underfoot cushion with a 14mm drop and the injected TPU chassis adds much needed support as you walk. Arc'Teryx worked with Vibram® to create the Vibram® Arc'Teryx Hiking outsole to make the best contact with the trail via a durable rubber with all the grip, traction and braking a hiker would want.

Keeping the science of the foot in mind these were constructed with durability, breathability, and efficiency for safe traveling in even the harshest of environments
The 2 layer stretch nylon mono-mesh Stretch GORE-TEX laminate to 100% of liner height uses minimal seams and adhesive to secure the membrane, which in doing so maximizes its waterproof and breathable surface areas
The non-removable liner is lightweight and made from a stretch nylon mono-mesh that will not conform or absorb moisture, ideal for quick-drying summer comfort
The interior liner is separate, which provides an adaptive fit that allows for incredible breathability and weather protection
Not to keep bragging about the liner, but the liner does not have a tongue, which reduces the build up of heat and pressure on the top of your foot to keep you comfortable
The upper features a non-woven Durable Water Repellent Finish (DWR) microfiber, PU coated nylon yarn, and high abrasion TPU film for the utmost in maintaining air permeability, abrasion resistance, and moisture dispersion. So great.
The outer shell is durable while the inner liner is comfortable, the separation of the two providing awesome quick-drying support and breathability
The midsole cushions and supports while also providing superb flexibility, shock absorption, stability, and traction thanks to the injected EVA foam
The seamless one piece upper protects the EVA midsole by sealing it away from punctures, exposure, and pesky abrasion
Strategically shaped for stability, traction, and enhanced breaking with the smooth rounded heel strike
Custom moulded rubber toe and heel caps prevent the toe from collapsing over time and adds protection to the exposed areas of the upper midsole
The Vibram Arc'teryx Hiking Outsole features climbing zone traction grooves, a high durability and high grip mountaineering perimeter, sharp heel brake and mountaineering heel brake for superior traction and braking
The outsole also has a spherical heel shape for smooth stride and even better braking
