The North Face Borealis Backpack is a laptop backpack for dragging your gear to and from school. The Borealis has been a stable force in the school bag line for TNF for quite awhile, so when it came to changes, they worked long and hard in the implementation. First and foremost, the backbone was given a boost with the FlexVent™ suspension, injection-molded shoulder straps, and a padded backpanel with spine channel. It aids in comfort whenever you have to get up and carry a heavy load on your back. The padded and fleece lined laptop compartment (in main section) protects from bumps and there is even the same treatment available for your tablet in the front compartment. A small front zip pocket has also been fleece-lined for your phone, just make sure you put it on silent or it'll be captured down in the front office for awhile. For you classic lovers of this pack, no worries, the bungee cord is still there, strapping down rain jacket or hoodie when not in use.
