The Arc'teryx Men's Alpha IS Jacket is an insulated hard shell for alpine and ice climbs. This jacket brings together a N40p-X 2L GORE-TEX® shell with Coreloft™ Continuous 65 and ThermaTek™ synthetic insulation for incredible warmth. It's sort of like wearing two layers, but it's all built into one piece. The regular fit still allows for ample space for additional layers on the really cold days. Alternatively, it still includes a stuff sack for the days on the expedition where you just won't need it until the weather changes.
