Before launching her clothing label, GOEN.J, in 2012, Korean designer Goen Jong studied lingerie design at Seoul’s prestigious Esmod School. Jumping at an opportunity to hone her skills in Paris, Jong studied at Atelier Chardon Savard and Studio Berçot, and interned at Totem press agency after graduation. After seven years away, Jong returned to Seoul, and since then, GOEN.J has quickly made a name for itself with a series of ambitious collections. Signature GOEN.J apparel pieces offer a striking juxtaposition of masculine and feminine elements, while maintaining a sense of effortlessness.
